	The USC Westside Center for diabetes was created to help patients treat their diabetes more effectively. Patients need preventive care services, education and one-on-one counseling on diet and health. Today's health care world often does not allow for enough attention on the lifestyle issues so critical to patients' wellbeing, but the center provides a full spectrum of these affordable services—coordinated to work hand-in-hand with medical care.
