The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC) is an inpatient and outpatient research support service funded by the NIH 's National Center for Research Resources (NCRR). The GCRC provides clinical research infrastructure for USC investigators with peer-reviewed protocols to study normal human function, as well as the mechanisms treatment and prevention of human disease. The Center comprises a 14-bed inpatient service, an outpatient facility, clinical and molecular medicine biology core laboratories, research kitchen, biostatistical services and computer laboratory facilities, together occupying Ward 6800 of the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center.
